The HBC leadership team is excited to our announce ministry internships for 2020.
Are you are looking for ministry experience, training and mentoring? Do you want to be challenged in your personal faith formation? Consider an internship for 2020.
After a fruitful year with our current 2019 Interns, Heathmont Baptist Church is excited to
make available for 2020 the opportunity for successful applicants to undertake a Ministry
Internship for either Youth, Young Adult, Children’s Ministry or Community Mission.
The internship runs over a 12-month period, 2 days per week, serving in ministry at
Heathmont Baptist Church. The option of a 2-year internship will be available following a
review at the end of the 1 st year. The intern would also be encouraged to undertake their
own bible/theological education for their holistic formation in ministry and leadership.
Structured into the internship, will be external and internal coaching, mentoring and
ministry training.
Our goal in providing these internships is to contribute to the work of God’s Kingdom by
giving the opportunity for emerging leaders to gain experience, training and personal and
skills development - equipping them to be commissioned out into a ministry assignment in
local church or ministry/mission organisations.

- Community Mission
- Children/Kids
- Worship
